Orthodontic treatment is provided by residents under the close supervision of our experienced faculty. Each case is reviewed by a panel of board-certified orthodontists to ensure thoughtful treatment planning and consistent standards of care, allowing patients to receive individualized treatment designed to support optimal outcomes.

Your initial visit to the UNLV Orthodontic Clinic is provided at no cost. During this appointment, you will have the opportunity to meet our clinical team, learn about available orthodontic treatment options, and determine whether our clinic is an appropriate fit for your needs. Comprehensive Fee Breakdown for Orthodontic Care

**Although records for orthodontic treatment may have been taken at another office, we require our own records. Our records are more comprehensive, using advanced imaging technologies, and meet the standards set by the American Board of Orthodontics. Please note that the records fee is mandatory for all patients.

• 1st visit: Complimentary Consultation
• 2nd visit: Orthodontic Records are not included in the treatment fee

Records Fee $250 (non-refundable) Cash & Commercial Insurance   

                   A. $65 Co-Pay only for Mediciad Insurance

                   B. CBCT is only schedule on Tuesdays or Fridays

• 3rd visit Review Plan & Start Treatment :           

                   A. Full Orthodontics Treatment $3,730                                 

                   B. Limited Orthodontics Treatment  $1,865         

Total Orthodontic Fee $3,730 (Records fee + down payment included) Payment plan up 24 months 

 * Does not cover dental treatment or any necessary oral surgery*  

Optional or Additional Services Fees

Invisalign Treatment: $4,980 total fee (Includes $250 orthodontic records fee; payment plans available)

• Clear Ceramic Brackets: Additional $250 per arch

Insurance & Payment Options

Insurance will lower the overall cost of orthodontic treatment and we accept all PPO insurances and Medicaid. We do not accept HMO insurance. We will send a pre-authorization to your insurance, which will take approximately 4-6 weeks for a response. We will notify you when we receive the response from the insurance, but patients are welcome to contact their insurance directly to check the status of the approval. We also offer a convenient interest-free payment plan for up to 24 months, so you can find a beautiful smile that fits your budget.
